Leigh Anne

Photographer & Storyteller

Raised in Southwest Virginia and later living throughout the Roanoke Valley, I spent more than three decades exploring the Blue Ridge region before eventually calling Florida home.

While Florida is now my home base, I return to the Blue Ridge Mountains several times each year. Those familiar roads, overlooks, and trails continue to inspire my photography and love of storytelling.

I'm a photographer, veteran educator, and lifelong explorer who believes the most compelling photographs continue to tell their stories long after the moment has passed.

Whether I'm driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, waiting for a butterfly to land, or documenting memories for friends, family, and clients, I'm always searching for the connections that turn life’s simplest moments into lasting stories for years to come.

Why Two Dogs & A Camera?

Two Dogs & A Camera started as a dream to build something entirely my own. It’s now a place where my love for exploration, photography, and storytelling can come together. The name reflects where I feel most at peace.

With my dogs at my side, we wander along mountain trails, take long drives on windy roads, and visit small towns, coffee shops, and countless small businesses. Some of my favorite photos are the ones that everyday people simply drive past without even looking up.
